Poteau’s boys soccer team won 5-0 at Regent Prep on Tuesday.

Diego Montelongo and Kason Terry both had two goals. Erick Hobbs had one after scoring four at Wagoner on Friday. Poteau’s girls lost 4-0. Poteau’s regular-season finale is at home Friday against Pryor with the girls playing at 4 p.m. and the boys at 6 p.m. Poteau’s boys (6-3, 3-3 District 4A4) must win for a shot at the playoffs.

The LeFlore County Historical Society will have its fourth annual golf tournament on May 6 at Wolf Creek Country Club at 9 a.m. Check-in is at 8 a.m. This four-person scramble costs $75 per person or $300 per team.

The Cavanal Killer 8K run/walk will be May 7, starting at 9 a.m. at Poteau Primary School at 407 Hughes Drive. The cost is $35 until April 22, after which it rises to $40.

Howe and Cameron’s middle-school archery teams will have fundraiser­s for their trips to the NASP national tournament in Louisville, Ky. in May. Cameron’s fundraiser dinner and silent auction is Friday from 6-8 p.m. in its school cafeteria. Howe’s fundraiser lunch and bake sale will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday in its school cafeteria.
