Pocola beat Heavener for eighth straight win

Parker and Smith homered twice and Chitwood and Bailey Lairamore homered once in Pocola’s 14-1 win against Hartshorne earlier. Pocola (20-3), which is ranked second in Class 3A and has won eight straight games, hosts its district with Sallisaw Central Thursday at 5 p.m. Heavener hosts its Class 4A district Friday with Vian and Warner with its first game at 11:20 a.m.
