The LeFlore County Historical Society will have its fourth annual golf tournament on May 6 at Wolf Creek Country Club at 9 a.m. Check-in is at 8 a.m. The cost is $75 per person or $300 per team.

The Cavanal Killer 8K run/walk will be May 7, starting at 9 a.m. at Poteau Primary School at 407 Hughes Drive. The cost is $40. After reaching the top of Cavanal Hill and enjoying refreshments, participants can shuttle back down to the school.
