Funeral service for aarla Elaine aavis, 55, of Poteau will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Springhill Baptist Church in Howe with Phil McGhee officiating.

Pallbearers will be aaryl aavis, Paden Evans, Seth Mckinzie, Cody Ramsey, Khris Smith and Skip Baxter.

Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.

aarla was born Nov. 9, 1966, in Poteau to aixie Kathleen Shrum (Bishop) and Burl aonald Shrum and passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, in Poteau.

She was preceded in death by husband Timothy Scot aavis.

She loved to teach and taught at Monroe Public Schools for 31 years. She enjoyed her walks with her friend Tomi sise.

Survivors include son aaren aavis, parents aon and aixie Shrum, sisters aonna aeaton and husband aavid and aeanna aavis.
