CASC falls in 10th to Connors
Carl Albert State College lost 11-10 on the road to Connors State College in 10 innings on a runscoring single with two outs.
CASC trailed 3-1 at the end of the first inning.
The deficit grew to 7-3 by the fifth inning.
A three-run home run by Reed Carroll put CASC within 7-6 in the top of the sixth.
The Vikings trailed 10-6 through seven innings.
They tied it with a four-run ninth, capped by a run-scoring double by Brenden Poindexter.
Carroll was 3-for-5. Preston Curtis and Blake Chambers both had two hits and two RBIs. Chance Noah of Red Oak had a double and two RBIs.
CASC (19-33) is preparing for its final Region 2 series of the regular season, hosting Northern Oklahoma CollegeTonkawa today for a doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m. CASC plays a road doubleheader at NOCTonkawa on Saturday.
