Howe is hosting a girls basketball camp May 2325 that is open to female students of any school. The cost is $50 and includes a shirt.

The camp is open to girls entering fourth through ninth grade.

The camp will focus on individual skill development, teaching skills that will be used in practices every day.

The LeFlore County Historical Society will have its fourth annual golf tournament on Friday at Wolf Ridge Country Club at 9 a.m. Check-in is at 8 a.m.

This four-person scramble costs $75 per person or $300 per team.

The Cavanal Killer 8K run/walk will be Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. at Poteau Primary School at 407 Hughes Drive. The cost is $40.

After reaching the top of Cavanal Hill and enjoying refreshments, participants can take a shuttle back down to the school. Register at runsignup. com/ Race/ OK/ Poteau/ CavanalKiller8K2022. Race day registration is at 8 a.m.

The Poteau Kiwanis Club golf tournament will be May 27 at Wolf Ridge Country Club. Registration is at 9 a.m. Tee time is at 10 a.m. Entry for this three-person scramble is $195. Hole sponsorship costs $100.

There will be prizes for first and second place in each flight, closest to the pin and putting.
