Funeral Service for “Goob” Shadwick, 46 of Wister, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Dyer officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

He was born on June 11, 1976 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Glenda Kay (Morgan) Shadwick and Donny Gene Shadwick and passed away on June 3, 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Scott was preceded in death by his dad, Donny Shadwick; grandparen­ts, Opal & Durell Morgan and Jean & Hotshot Shadwick. Goob grew up working cattle with his dad; he spent his entire life at sale barns. Goob loved his family and never hesitated to help take care of the little ones. He was a cheerful person and had a way of making people laugh. Goob was loved by

Allen so many, friends and family alike.

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Shadwick; son, Alec; sister, Julie Gibson; nieces and nephews, Jordan Booth, Cheyenne Hudson, Hunter Brown, Faith Shadwick, and their families, numerous other loved ones and friends.

Pallbearer­s will be John Meeh, Shane Wooten, Ronnie Wooten, Brian Shadwick, Brad Knight, Clayton Morgan, Shane Turnipseed, Harold Means, Jody Herbert, Doug Percifield, and Steven Morris. Honorary Pallbearer­s will be Bud Hammons, George Vinson, Carl Quinton, Donnie Martin, Daniel Free, Rocky Crane, and Ricky Crane.

Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2023 from 1:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
