Poteau’s boys soccer team was scheduled to play its Senior Night game on Tuesday, but Dove Science Academy of Tulsa had to forfeit. Poteau will have its soccer Senior Night and homecoming on the day of its alumni game on May 10.

The Poteau league baseball and softball season at the Poteau Area Recreation­al Complex will start during the week of April

22.

The next LeFlore County Bass Club tournament will be April 20 at Tenkiller Lake, launching from Chicken Creek. The cost is $50 per angler.

The LeFlore County Historical Society will have its sixth annual golf tournament fundraiser on May 10 at Choctaw Country Club. Check-in with a grab-and-go breakfast will be from 8-8:45 a.m., and tee time will be 9 a.m. There will be lunch, door prizes and awards.

The Cavanal Killer 8K run/walk will be May 11, starting at Poteau Primary School at 9 a.m. See runsignup.com or the Poteau Chamber office to register. Registrati­on is $35 through April 26 and $40 after that.

Signups for Poteau Pirates third- through sixthgrade football will be May 27 at Costner Stadium, with third and fourth grade at 6 p.m. and fifth and sixth grade at 7 p.m. Registrati­on is $70. Parents must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificat­e.

There will be a baseball and softball tournament at the PARC on April 27. Team entry is $125 for TBall to 8-and-under and $150 for 10-and-under and 12-and-under. There will be a Friday Night Lights All-Night Softball Tournament­at on May 31 at the PARC, with the first game starting at 11 p.m.
