Poteau wrestling will have its youth wrestling camp from kindergart­eners through eighth graders May 28-30 at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse from 10 a.m.-noon. The cost is $50. The next LeFlore County Bass Club tournament will be May 11 at Lake Eufaula, launching from Highway 9 East Landing. The cost is $50 per angler.

The LeFlore County Historical Society will have its sixth annual golf tournament fundraiser on May 10 at Choctaw Country Club.

Check-in with a graband-go breakfast will be from 8-8:45 a.m., and tee time will be 9 a.m. There will be lunch, door prizes and awards.

The cost is $300 for a four-person team. This includes two mulligans per person.

The Cavanal Killer 8K run/walk will be May 11, starting at Poteau Primary School at 9 a.m. See runsignup.com or the Poteau Chamber office to register. Registrati­on is $35 through April 26 and $40 after that.

Signups for Poteau Pirates third- through sixthgrade football will be May 27 at Costner Stadium, with third and fourth grade at 6 p.m. and fifth and sixth grade at 7 p.m. Registrati­on is $70. Parents must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificat­e.

The Wister girls basketball summer camp will be May 22-23 at the Wister gym. Kindergart­ners through fourth grade will be 8-10 a.m. Fifth- through eighth-graders will be 10 a.m.-noon.
