A lot of this ar­ti­cle, “Gen­der La­bels on Skis Are Mean­ing­less” (46.4), makes it seem like the world is a lit­tle more per­fect than it is (and that ev­ery­one is an ag­gres­sive ex­pert). Women walk­ing into a store and not see­ing a women’s sec­tion would be out­raged. Chang­ing per­cep­tions is a mon­u­men­tal task, and with the ques­tion­able win­ter sea­sons we seem to have had in re­cent years, it doesn’t seem like most brands are go­ing to risk it.
