Life in Alaska is unconventional. Skiing the final frontier is no different. From dog sleds, to helicopters, to Cessnas, to fishing boats, to kayaks, and even a tiny dinghy, there’s a good chance that getting where you need to go will include some other conveyance than a standard automobile. Departing from Seward, located on the Gulf of Alaska, an ambitious crew and their captain navigate icy waters in search of their line.
