Powder - - POSTHOLE -

I used to make an event of buying my Powder magazine at a local store in Park City. It was a big deal for me. I moved a few years ago to get away from the “Vail Jail,” as I called it, to a smaller town where people are still normal, but l couldn’t find a store with Powder. I told my wife the only thing I wanted for Christmas was a subscription to my beloved magazine—and Santa came through. I just received my first issue (The Photo Annual, 46.5), which had the cover line “Reborn.” That was fitting in my mind! Unfortunately, I read it cover to cover the first night and then read it from back to front the next night. I loved the coverage you gave to the people who make skiing more than just cool photos and sponsorship rides—they are the heart and soul so many of us identify with. They share the same love of skiing as we do. Andy Langendorf
