1. La Mirada (22-6): The Matadores have a 17-game winning streak heading into their second-round home game against Roosevelt in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs today. Senior outfielder Grace Archuleta's two-out RBI-double led La Mirada to a 1-0win against Whittier Christian in the first round.

2. Los Alamitos (21-7):
The Griffins play host to Beaumont in the second round of the Division 1 playoffs today. Junior Taryn Clements and seniors Diamond Sefe and Sydney Saldana will be key to Los Alamitos making a postseason run.

Two of Gahr's best players this season have been sophomores Marley Cortez and Rio Mendez. Gahr beat No. 4-ranked Warren to win the San Gabriel Valley League title this season.

4. Warren (22-4): The Bears will play at North Torrance in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 2playoffs today. Junior pitcher Shelbee Botello will be key inside the circle. Previous: 4
5. Millikan (19-10): The Rams play host to La Habra in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs today. Millikan sophomore Ava Schaffel will need to continue her stellar play inside the circle. The Rams offense will look for positive at-bats from Ari Ramirez, Katie Knarr and Erica Estrada.

6. St. Anthony (14-9): The Saints will play at Quartz Hill in the second round of the CIF-SS Division playoffs today. Seniors Rose Cano, Aimee Metz, Jayla Cadena and Destiny Avila proved the Del Rey League champions are for real when St. Anthony beat No. 8-ranked Lakewood 4-1in the first round.

7. Cerritos (14-3): The Dons lost 4-2to Heritage in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs. Senior shortstop Jadyn Nielsen, an All-Area-caliber player, batted .633with 20steals during the regular season. Cerritos won the 605 League title.

8. Lakewood (20-9): The Lancers lost 4-1to No. 6St. Anthony in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs. Junior Laci Berocochea emerged this season as one of the best pitchers in the area.
