Doobie Brothers

The band will soon hit a Southern California casino on its 50th Anniversar­y Tour. Winners of Grammys and inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Doobie Brothers are known for hits like “Listen to the Music,” “Long Train Runnin'” and “Black Water.”

CNCO

This Latino boy band got its start on the reality competitio­n show “La Banda.” The show was created by Simon Cowell, a figure in the success of the British-Irish boy band One Direction and Puerto Rican icon Ricky Martin, a member of the hit '80s boy band Menudo. CNCO's music is driven by its pop hooks and a reggaetón edge that's been prevalent in much of today's Latin music boom. The group's hits include “Quisiera,” “Tan fácil” and “Hey DJ.” The group announced last year that this outing would be its farewell tour.

Diana Ross

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy winner began her career in The Supremes, an all-female soul group that became one of the most well-known acts signed to Motown Records in the '60s. Ross has also had a successful solo career, becoming the first woman to win the Grammy Lifetime Achievemen­t Award twice, as a solo artist in 2012 and with The Supremes in 2023. Dionne Warwick

The Grammy-winning singer, actress and television host is one of the mostcharte­d vocalists of all time, with 56 singles making the Hot 100 between 1962 and 1998, and 80 singles making the Hot 100, R&B or adult contempora­ry charts. Warwick's hits include “That's What Friends Are For,” “I'll Never Love This Way Again” and “Heartbreak­er.”

Maldita Vecindad

Maldita Vecindad, also known as La Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Quinto Patio, was formed in 1985 in Mexico City. The group was a product of the rock en Español scene and was inspired by bands not from Latin America, such as The Police and The Cure. While Argentine bands like Soda Stereo, Los Enanitos Verdes and Virus were leading rock en Español, the scene thrived elsewhere in Latin America, and in Mexico, Maldita Vecindad built a following by incorporat­ing bolero, ska and rock. 8 p.m. June 10 at Spotlight 29 Casino, 46-200 Harrison Place, Coachella. $45-$60; 21or older. 760-775-5566, spotlight2­9.com.

Gov't Mule

Guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody of the Allman Brothers Band formed this Southern rock jam outfit as a side project in 1994. The two shared a love for '60s power trios like Cream, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the James Gang and Mountain, which inspired the direction of their group. The band's hits include “Banks of the Deep End,” “Soulshine” and “Gold Dust Woman.”
