The Con­roe Art League an­nounces Christmas is for Giv­ing Ex­hibit

Con­roe, Texas – The Con­roe Art League (CAL) an­nounces Christmas is for Giv­ing Ex­hibit in co­or­di­na­tion with Home­stead House Fur­ni­ture in Con­roe and the Salvation Army. The event is a month long cel­e­bra­tion of the sprit of Christmas ben­e­fit­ing Toys 4 Kidz char­ity. The ex­hibit opens Novem­ber 28 at The Gallery in the Made­ley Build­ing. The sale fea­tures an out­stand­ing ex­hibit of fine art and a col­lec­tion of af­ford­able, orig­i­nal art­work by CAL mem­bers

There will also be a spe­cial “show within a show” high­light­ing five lo­cal artists. Car­rie Allbrit­ton, Beau Crump, Joyce Isen­barger, Janet Rus­sell and Lisa Waddell, will be fea­tured from De­cem­ber 1st through the 3rd in co-or­di­na­tion with the 3rd An­nual Christmas Ex­trav­a­ganza at three lo­ca­tions down­town Con­roe which will in­clude art from 17 dif­fer­ent artists. The open­ing of the event is set for De­cem­ber 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Gallery will of­fer ex­tended hours De­cem­ber 2, from10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and De­cem­ber 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to al­low ex­tra time for shop­ping and view­ing. The open­ing re­cep­tion for this event will be De­cem­ber 1, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Christmas is for Giv­ing, con­tin­ues through­out the rest of the month. “In the true spirit of giv­ing, the Toys 4 Kidz char­ity will re­ceive a 20% do­na­tion from all Gallery sales in De­cem­ber. We will fill the gallery with unique works of art at af­ford­able prices $125 and un­der,” states Brett Hall, event spokesman. “Ev­ery­one is in­vited to shop the “Win­ter Won­ders on the Walls” for that one-of-a-kind gift for the ex­tra spe­cial peo­ple on your list,” Hall adds.
