The Conroe Art League announces Christmas is for Giving Exhibit
Conroe, Texas – The Conroe Art League (CAL) announces Christmas is for Giving Exhibit in coordination with Homestead House Furniture in Conroe and the Salvation Army. The event is a month long celebration of the sprit of Christmas benefiting Toys 4 Kidz charity. The exhibit opens November 28 at The Gallery in the Madeley Building. The sale features an outstanding exhibit of fine art and a collection of affordable, original artwork by CAL members
There will also be a special “show within a show” highlighting five local artists. Carrie Allbritton, Beau Crump, Joyce Isenbarger, Janet Russell and Lisa Waddell, will be featured from December 1st through the 3rd in co-ordination with the 3rd Annual Christmas Extravaganza at three locations downtown Conroe which will include art from 17 different artists. The opening of the event is set for December 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Gallery will offer extended hours December 2, from10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and December 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to allow extra time for shopping and viewing. The opening reception for this event will be December 1, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Christmas is for Giving, continues throughout the rest of the month. “In the true spirit of giving, the Toys 4 Kidz charity will receive a 20% donation from all Gallery sales in December. We will fill the gallery with unique works of art at affordable prices $125 and under,” states Brett Hall, event spokesman. “Everyone is invited to shop the “Winter Wonders on the Walls” for that one-of-a-kind gift for the extra special people on your list,” Hall adds.
