Spring calls to mind the sight of beautiful flowers swaying in a gentle breeze. This quilt represents that springtime moment with the petals fully open, soaking up the sun’s nourishing rays. Pastel colors in neat rows could be any garden anywhere, transplanted to your home.”—Lyn Brown
COMPLETING THE BLOCKS
1. Press an A square in half diagonally both ways and lightly crease the folds. Use the creases to arrange four matching petals on A. Fuse pieces in place. Referring to Figure 1, use matching rayon thread and a small zigzag stitch to stitch around the flowers in one continuous line of stitching. Repeat to make five lilac, four each pink and coral, three yellow and two green Petals blocks.
