Come early 2019, the Mu­seum of Candy will bring the world’s largest col­lec­tion of sweets to New York City. The 30,000-square-foot whim­si­cal won­der­land from the team be­hind the Sugar Fac­tory restau­rant chain will house 15 In­sta­gram-ready rooms fea­tur­ing real candy mu­rals, the world’s largest gummy bear, and an ex­hibit about the his­tory of the sugar in­dus­try. But it’s more than just so­cial me­dia bait—there’s plenty to eat, too. At the dessert mar­ket­place, snack on toaster pas­tries and dough­nuts from more than 20 sweets ven­dors and con­fec­tion­ers from around the world. Or have a full-ser­vice feast of gonzo milk­shakes and 24-scoop sun­daes at the Sugar Fac­tory out­post in­side the mu­seum. Sugar high to­tally in­cluded!
