CHAI - SPICED PIE SHAKE

This shake is great made with pump­kin or ap­ple pie.

1∕2 cup wal­nut pieces 3 scoops of avnilla cie rceam 1 large slice of pump­kin or ap­ple pie, plus 2 mini slices of pie for gar­nish 1∕2 cup whole milk 1∕4 tsp. ground car­damom 1∕4 tsp. ground black pep­per Whipped cream, for gar­nish

1. Pre­heat the oven to 350°. Spread the nuts on a rimmed bak­ing sheet. Bake un­til fra­grant and lightly toasted, 5 to 7 min­utes. Let cool. Chop enough nuts to mea­sure about 1 tbsp. and set aside for gar­nish.

2. In a blender, mix the re­main­ing nuts, the ice cream, large slice of pie, milk, car­damom, and half the pep­per un­til smooth. Di­vide be­tween 2 glasses. Top with the whipped cream, chopped nuts, and the re­main­ing pep­per. Gar­nish with the mini slices of pie.
