Exactly one year ago, Raise Vegan made its debut as the first ever vegan parenting magazine. We set out with the mission to give parents the resources they needed to confidently raise their children to be compassionate, informed members of society.

We started as an online publication and within five months, had the following and support needed to go to print and distribute physical copies worldwide. While we are still small in number, we are great in our community. It is because of people like you, our loyal readers, supporters and fellow vegan parents, that we continue to exist and do our part in the movement to Raise Vegan. Thank you.

Fast forward to a year later; as we are continuing to grow, we strive to remain true to our founding goal of being a reliable resource for other vegan parents. As we move into our second year, we will continue to bring you the best and latest research, parenting advice, health and wellness information and of course, tried and tested recipes for the whole family. In our never- ending quest to become the best magazine possible, we will be adding new monthly features in the new year and we can't wait to see what you all think.

This issue is stuffed full of recipes with both a cookie guide and a meal plan for a New Years Eve bash that can't be beat! Check out our holiday gift guide and even learn how to be well- prepared when traveling. So cuddle up with your favorite hot beverage, a cozy y blanket and your fuzziest socks and dive in to this month's issue. e. I hope you love it as much as I do!
