Climo served just under half of his six-month sentence handed down in July. He was released Oct. 23 with a day’s credit for each day served with good behavior.
Sheriff Connie Smith said the investigation is continuing and that additional charges are possible. Smith said the mailboxes and signs were damaged over two nights last week along Grimsley Road, Richmond Road, Lizzie Mills Road, Aaron Mountain Road and Battle Mountain Road.
District Court Judge Thomas G. Underwood placed all three on pretrial supervi- sion; each was released on a $1,500 bond.
In other actions reported by the Sheriff’s Office this week, Tikis Gales, 35, of Norfolk, was arrested Saturday, Jan. 15, for indecent exposure in the county parking lot. According to the authorities, Gales was
denied visitation to a jail inmate and, after leaving the jail office, went to the parking lot and urinated on a deputy’s car.
John Andrew Sweatt, 40, of Chester Gap, was charged Jan. 13 with assault and battery on a family member. Kenneth Justin Dodson, 21, of Chester Gap, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery on a family member.
