Famous acoustic guitarist Laurence Juber returns to the Theatre at Washington during his tour of the East Coast this Saturday (June 11) at 8 p.m.

Juber has been living in California for several years, but he grew up in England where, as a young musician, he became the lead guitarist for Paul McCartney’s Wings. This brought him his first Grammy award, and he earned a second Grammy some years later with his solo arrangement of “The Pink Panther” theme.

Juber’s concerts at the Theatre are on their way to becoming a regular annual feature on the spring schedule, and they attract an audience from far afield. He says “the Theatre is one of my favorite venues to play. It has just the right combination of intimacy and pure acoustics. I always look forward to my return visits.”

Tickets for the solo concert on $20 ($10 students 17 and younger). Call 540-675-1253 for reservations or information.
