Studio and gallery tour: The eighth annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour, sponsored by RAAC, features open studios and galleries both Saturday and Sunday. Tour the bucolic byways of Rappahannock County as you visit 17 artists in their personal studios. ‘Slabtown Convention’: Performance of “Slabtown Convention,” a satiric comedy about 1930s Baptist conventions presented by supporters of the Rappahannock Historical Society and the Scrabble School Foundation, is 4 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School. Lions Club ChiliFest: Rappahannock Lions Club Grand Raffle and ChiliFest features chili, soups and stews from some of Rappahannock’s best cooks, restaurants and B&Bs in an outdoor setting (dress appropriately). All proceeds benefit Rappahannock County charitable causes. Event begins at 4 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. Veterans Day ceremony: Rappahannock County High School’s annual Veterans Day ceremony is at 10:30 a.m. in the RCHS gym, with guest speaker, World War II veteran Chilton G. Raiford of Amissville. Performances by the concert band and chorus to honor the service members and their families in the county. A luncheon for the veterans and their families follows the ceremony. Relay for Life dinner: Relay for Life of Rappahannock holds its second annual Survivor Dinner at Sperryville Schoolhouse (12018 Lee Hwy.).
