Thank you for the love and support

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Rappahannock community, all of our friends, and family for the support and love shown to us during and after the passing of my father. The tremendous crowd at the church and at my parents home truly expressed how much you cared about Newbill.

The day was a blur and due to the size of the crowd, there were many people that we did not get a chance to see and visit with after the service. I know there are many people that we neglected to thank and for that I am sorry.

I know that I am guilty of this because in my remembrance in the church service, I forgot to thank one of the most important people in my father’s latter life: Lyn Bailey, who provided my father with attentive and loving care from the day she started working for my parents.

Her love and care for both of my parents was second to none. She was a tireless and giving person and seemed to be on call 24/7. Without her, we would not have made it through this extremely difficult time. Lyn, we will be forever in your debt. You are a true and loving member of our family and for this we are blessed.

Again, to all of our friends, we thank you for the love and compassion shown to us in our time of need. It means more than we can ever express.
