Bonnie V. Rowe

Bonnie Val Rowe of Flint Hill, VA, died on March 3, 2013, at Fauquier Hospital. She was born in Pomona, CA on January 31, 1943, to the late Ronald and Ramona Arlone Rhinehart. She was also preceded in death by her son, Corey Rowe, her brothers Leslie, Sherman and Ronald Rhinehart and her sister Marleen Gustin.

She was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, VA and a former member of Woodbridge Christian Church, Woodbridge, VA. She worked as an office manager for R.L. Rasmus Auctioneers prior to her “retirement” in 2000, to take her most important job, to help raise her granddaughters. This truly was the perfect job for her, as all of the children and families that she watched for over the years will attest. Bonnie was loved by everyone that came to know her and she truly treasured her many friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Mylene Whorton and her husband David of Flint Hill, VA, her granddaughters, Alicia and Hailey Whorton of Flint Hill, VA, and her sister, Doreen Case of Upland, CA.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2pm until the time of a funeral service at 3pm, at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, VA. Interment will be in Sperryville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Rappahannock Community Kids Bible Club, c/o Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church.
