RCHS grads make dean’s lists

Mal­colm Perry, a Rap­pa­han­nock County High School grad and mem­ber of the class of 2015 from Ch­ester Gap, has been named to the fall 2013 dean’s list at Loy­ola Univer­sity in Mary­land. To qual­ify, a stu­dent must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a min­i­mum of 15 cred­its.

Three other Rap­pa­han­nock res­i­dents made the dean’s list at Vir­ginia Tech, in­clud­ing James M. Min­yard, James R. White and Ben­nett T. Eastham. Min­yard, from Amissville, is a sopho­more ma­jor­ing in me­chan­i­cal en­gi­neer­ing; White is a ju­nior from Flint Hill ma­jor­ing in chemical en­gi­neer­ing; and Eastham, of Wash­ing­ton, is a se­nior com­mu­ni­ca­tion ma­jor. To qual­ify for the dean’s list, stu­dents must at­tempt at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 GPA.
