RAWL Dog of the Week: Mira

Rappahannock News - - FROM PAGE ONE • EVENTS • NEWS -

Is there anything better than a puppy? I’m a puppy — a 3-month-old Husky mix named Mira. My name means “wonder” or “wonderful” in Latin. And those I am. I am a happy sort and very outgoing. I’m almost housebroken and know to bark to be let outside. I have the classic Husky feature of one blue eye, one brown. I must have a fenced yard and will mature to be 50 pounds or maybe bigger. Would love to grow up in your home. A possibility? This past week, two of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Road, Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily.
