➤ The Town of Washington, the Old Rag Master Naturalist­s, RLEP and RappFLOW host a grand opening ceremony of the Natural Habitat and Restoratio­n Area and Nature Trail at 11 a.m. June 27 at 564 Warren Ave., in Washington.

➤ The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahanno­ck (CMR) Farm Show is July 10-14 at the Culpeper Agricultur­al Enterprise­s (10220 James Monroe Hwy., Culpeper). There is a watermelon party, an open pet show, horse drawn carriage rides, a tractor driving contest and the Little Miss CMR contest.
