Join RappCats for a fun fundraiser
Kick off the weekend on Friday, April 22 at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill and raise critical funds for RappCats. Have an enjoyable time from 6-9 p.m., in an English pub-like atmosphere at 659 Zachary Taylor Highway while making a difference in the lives of needy cats.
Karaoke with Vicki Marie begins at 8 p.m., and guests can sing for the cause if they like. Celebrity bartenders, including Washington Mayor John Sullivan and
Rappahannock News columnist Chris Doxzen, will serve drinks and door prizes will be awarded. Bring cash for tips for your favorite celebrity bartender.
Since 2007 RappCats has worked with the Rappahannock community to spay/neuter cats; rescue stray, abandoned, and injured cats; provide shelter and medical care for homeless cats; and find loving homes for needy cats. RappCats is an allvolunteer, private non-profit organization that receives no government financial support. The group relies entirely on the donations of generous supporters to continue essential rescue efforts and operate RappCats’ Adoption Center.
