Bring a bag lunch and network (a.k.a. schmooze), starting around 11:30. The meeting begins at noon. ➤ PIEDMONT SOFTBALL ASSOCIATIO­N offers spring and fall seasons. EARLY-BIRD registrati­ons are now being conducted 6 p.m to 8 p.m. every Friday evening at 10 Maddox Lane (old Bill Payne Auctions building) through Feb. 9. Early-bird individual registrati­on fees during this time are $55 or less for the year for all girls registerin­g to play spring 2018 softball with PSA. ➤ Fauquier Hospital will host a new support group called HELPING HANDS at 3:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. The first meeting will be held Wednesday, March 7.
