Elizabeth "Libby" Della Brady Bennett
Elizabeth “Libby” Della Brady Bennett, 84, of Flint Hill, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in the Commonwealth Senior Living of Front Royal. A funeral service will be held on Friday June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Clegg officiating. Interment will follow in the Flint Hill Cemetery in Flint Hill, Virginia. Libby was born on January 3, 1934, in Flint Hill daughter of the late Moffett H. Brady and Alice L. Brady. She was a member of the Front Royal Baptist Temple and retired after many dedicated years from Peebles Department Store in Warrenton. Surviving are Paul Bennett, father of all her children; four children Ellen B. Joback (Jimmy) of Clarksville, Virginia, Paula E. Bennett of Coles Point, Virginia, Bill Bennett (Suzanne) of Fairfax, Virginia and Brad Bennett (Christine) of Stephens City, Virginia; grandchildren Amy M. Underwood of Warrenton, Virginia, Joseph A. Joback, II of Midlothian, Virginia, William Bennett of Centreville, Virginia, Brittany Bennett of Leonardtown, Maryland, Jacob Bennett of Annandale, Virginia, Roger Lee Murphy of Coles Point, Virginia and Andrew Parson of Port Hueneme, California; great-grandchildren Caitlin Ross of Centerville, Virginia, Brian Ross of Centreville, Virginia, Mary Ellen Underwood of Warrenton, Virginia, Joseph Underwood of Warrenton, Virginia, Lucy Underwood of Warrenton, Virginia, Joseph A. Joback, III of Midlothian, Virginia, Brady Parson of Port Hueneme, California, Gunner Murphy of Coles Point, Virginia and Dalton Murphy of Coles Point, Virginia; four great-great-grandchildren; siblings Irene Hamilton of High Point, North Carolina, Ann Jones of Clermont, Florida, Charles Brady of Warrenton, Virginia and Richard Brady of Flint Hill, Virginia. Libby was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Louise B. McCulloch, Mary Alice Atkins, M.H. Brady, Thelma Crane, Robert Brady and granddaughter Alice Marie Joback. Pallbearers will be Joey Joback, Roger Murphy, William Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Jason Brady and Mark Brady. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 7 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, Virginia.
