John F. Fowler

John F. Fowler died at home in Wash­ing­ton, VA on Sun­day, June 17, 2018. He was born in Wash­ing­ton, DC on Fe­bru­ary 9, 1939 to the late Roy Lee and Mary Beale Fowler. He was a very proud U.S. Army vet­eran; was co-part­ner of sev­eral ser­vice sta­tions in DC and MD, and prior to his re­tire­ment, he owned a win­dow clean­ing busi­ness. He is sur­vived by his wife, Doris, the love of his life; a brother, Roland Fowler; a spe­cial nephew, Russell L. Poe, Jr.; a dear friend, Joseph Wenk; and many nieces, neph­ews and friends. He was pre­ceded in death by his brother, Roy Lee Fowler, Jr.; two sis­ters, Nellie Mu­solino and Mary Etta Wil­bur; and Linda Her­sch, who was his God­daugh­ter.
