Justin Duane Updike

Justin Duane Updike, 37 of Gainsville, Va, passed away on 11/14/18. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 o’clock pm Saturday December 8, 2018 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton Va. Reception will follow the service at Moser Funeral Home. Justin was born on November 26, 1980 to Randall and Toni Updike. Justin grew up in Washington, Va. on Skyway Hills Farm with his brother, Scott and sister Katie. Justin, along with his siblings was an active member of 4-H and the American Angus Association. He graduated from Wakefield School, The Plains Va in 1999 and attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he double majored in Business and Finance with a minor in Political Science. Justin became a CPA in 2012 and worked as the Senior Accounting Manager for SAIC for over 10 years. Justin is survived by his parents, Mr. Randall Updike and Mrs. Toni Updike, brother M. Scott Updike PHD, sister in law Dr. Ashley Updike, two nieces, Ella and Clara Updike and sister Dr. Katie Updike.
