Rappahannock News - - FRONT PAGE - BY JOHN MCCASLIN

A turtle only moves forward when sticking its neck out. And now, more than any other time of the year in Rappahannock, turtles are making progress. Female turtles particularly are on the move to locate suitable sites for laying their eggs, and as a result often approach and try to cross roads, putting them in great danger of being struck by vehicles.
