Rap­pa­han­nock County res­i­dents are in­vited to a spe­cial un­veil­ing and rib­bon-cut­ting cer­e­mony on Tues­day, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m. at Rap­pa­han­nock County El­e­men­tary School.

Of­fi­cials will un­veil nu­mer­ous school up­grades that in­clude the new “Court­yard Out­door Learn­ing Space,” a Rap­pFLOW project ded­i­cated to the late Bev­erly Hunter, with sup­port from The Head­wa­ters Foun­da­tion, Pied­mont En­vi­ron­men­tal Coun­cil-Kreb­ser Fund for Rap­pa­han­nock County Con­ser­va­tion, North­ern Pied­mont Com­mu­nity Foun­da­tion-Lykes Fund, Com­mit to Be Fit, and The PATH Foun­da­tion.

Bev­erly is re­mem­bered dur­ing her life­time for giv­ing lov­ingly, thought­fully, and gen­er­ously to ev­ery­one, of­fer­ing en­cour­age­ment, ideas, en­ergy and ad­vice.
