Alternate mass shootings solutions
Last week, Mr. [Robert F.] Klaus stated that, in the wake of recent mass shootings, the only way to avoid a totalitarian government solution would be to bring back our religious heritage and stop immigrants that only want handouts.
Sounds like one plan . . . but first we would have to amend the Constitution to enable religious heritage to come back into government. Then we will need to select the right religious heritage — Christian? Judeo-Christian? Or some other? Then we can start deporting or jailing practitioners of inappropriate religions, like when Baptists were jailed and tortured in the early 1770’s in places like Culpeper before the Constitution took effect, because they were preaching an unsanctioned religion.
Then we can make sure all these immigrants stop freeloading and start working at the really low wages that they deserve for being illegal, such as meat processing plants and luxury golf courses, and all the other jobs no one else wants to do . . . or we can deport them too.
Now we are up to somewhere north of 90 million deported or jailed.
Alternately, we can look to examples of the so many countries in the world that do separate church and state; have effective immigration and refugee policies that take in many times the number of refugees we do; have sensible gun laws that do not provide for any citizen, sane or otherwise, to easily purchase weapons designed only for war; have better healthcare and better standards of living for their citizens; and manage to have less mass shootings in a decade than we do in a given month.
