Can anybody find Jan?

Rappahannock News - - Comment - Amissville Jan Makela

This is the 50th anniversary of my 1969 Rappahannock County High School graduation — not to mention Woodstock and the Moon Walk!

In searching for items [at Saturday’s] Democratic Yard Sale, I uncovered this gem! These people were precious to me. The memories still are. Several members of our class have departed this life, several have moved away, many are still residing in Rappahannock, but all of them had a

profound impact on my young life. Bet you can’t find me!

Editor’s note: Jan Hackley Makela, a real estate agent in Rappahannock County, spent much of her life in her family-owned Hackley’s Store. We have it on good authority she appears here in the second row, fourth from the left.
