Helen Elizabeth Berry, 72, of Castleton, died Sunday, November 22, 2020. She was born April 18, 1948 to the late Thomas and Betty Walter.

Helen was the matriarch of her family. She was known for her beautiful smile and loved her family dearly. With her kind heart, she was always willing to help others and was like a second mom to many.

Helen is survived by her two sons Don Berry, Jr. and Thomas Roy Berry; eleven grandchild­ren, Dillion Berry, Samantha Sprouse (Brandon), Ashleigh Baldwin, Michael Harrison (Lucy), Nikki Elliott (Matt), Bobby Bowers (April), Jacob Thomas, J. T. Harrison, Cassandra Harrison, Matthew Pullen, and Carly Pullen; three brothers, Tommy Walter, Ronnie Walter (Sue), John Harrison (Angie) and three sisters, Martha Kidwell (George), Dorothy Spaid (Greg) and Connie Thomas. Helen also leaves behind her beloved poodle, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don A. Berry, Sr.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 12pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryvill­e Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Randy Clark officiatin­g. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Due to COVID-19 mandate masks are required to enter the building. Interment will be at Gourdvine Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributi­ons may be made in Helen’s name to Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue at P.O. Box 147, Amissville, VA 20106.
