Fauquier Health lifts some COVID-19 visitation restrictions at hospital
With COVID-19 community transmission continuing to decrease, Fauquier Health announced Monday that it has li ed some visitation restrictions.
The changes apply to the emergency department, birthing center and patient rooms on the second and third oors.
The hospital requires ace masks/ coverings, screening and hand sanitization for entry. Upon entry, visitors will receive an approved visitation stickers that must be worn visibly at all times within the building.
The front entrance will be open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

“Fauquier Health is committed to providing the highest quality of care and ensuring the safety of our patients, employees, providers, volunteers and visitors,” spokeswoman Sarah Cubbage wrote in a press release. “We continue to monitor the evolving situation with COVID-19 on a daily basis and are taking the necessary steps to ensure we provide a safe environment of care for patients, in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in partnership with our local and state health departments.
