Praying for Ukraine
The horrors unfolding daily in Ukraine were on the minds — and in the prayers — of dozens who gathered in a peaceful town a world away last Wednesday evening. Around 50-60 attendees gathered at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington for an ecumenical prayer vigil. Several local faith leaders presided at the event, including Rev. Elizabeth Keeler of Trinity (below), Rev. Walt Childress of Washington Baptist, Rabbi Rose Jacob from Madison and Rev. Russ Savage of the Unitarian Universalists of the Blue Ridge.
