That’s what it took to make my truck stand out from the rest at the next comp. I didn’t have a lot of time to get these modifications done, but it only took a little bit of time to make it all happen and the truck looks great. Give some of these tips a try on your next scale build and you’ll have a truck that looks better on the trail and will meet those scale event requirements.
Above: Before I secured the light buckets, I quickly placed the Pro-line light in the body. I really liked the look of the stock lenses; they have a great scale look. I left the lenses in the light bucket and used Shoo Goo to attach them to the body. Left: The lenses look great and have a factory-pickup-truck look.
