I JUST FINISHED A PROJECT TRAXXAS TRX-4

(you’ll see it in the next issue) with the goal of maximum performance for rock-crawling comps. My original thought was to get the chassis dialed in, put a nice looking body on it, and call it a day. What I overlooked was that certain scale details are a requirement at some of these gatherings. I didn’t add them initially because I wanted the weight of my truck to be as low as possible for the best possible performance, but since they are required, I put on my thinking cap and figured out how to put just enough flair on to cover the requirements. I’ll show you what I added to my truck and, more important, how I made all this sweet scaleness happen in a short amount of time.
