The awesome race rig and dirt cars that you see here are the work of Brad Brucker. He’s the marketing guy for Horizon Hobby, and he has taken some of Horizon’s products and used them to make this happen. The truck is a Tamiya King Hauler, which has a servo-actuated fifth wheel, lights, and sound. The trailer is completely custom-built and has a steel square-tube structure that supports balsa wood and Lexan. Features of the trailer include a complete interior, lights, and a door that flips open and closes by way of an RC4WD winch with linear actuators that move it up and down. The trailer has its own power source and receiver to operate all its functions. Finishing it off is a custom-made wrap from P3 Designs and aluminum wheels from Xtra Speed. The two perfectly sized cars you see are brushless touring cars from Dromida; the chassis are covered with RJ Speed late-model bodies, and he made tire and wheel modifications to get the offset to match the bodies. Brad says he uses the same radio and model to control the rig, trailer, and each dirt car.
