An RX4 speed control, a ROC412 HD 4200Kv motor, and a T-440 servo outfit the M1079. The setup provides a top speed of about 14mph on a 2S Lipo. That’s plenty fast for a large-scale rally truck, without making it hard to drive. A sound system was used to provide diesel-engine sound effects, and it also powers 12 of the LEDS on the truck’s exterior. An Axial LED controller was used to power the rock-light setup underneath for nighttime wheeling. The cab has another Axial LED controller for the four amber marker lights, along with three Pro-line LED light bars on the roof and four RC4WD Baja Designs Squadron LED pods mounted in the front bumper. Finishing off the lighting are two 4-inch LED strips mounted in the rear-box area.
