Tried-and-true components mix with all-new parts in the suspension department. The plastic-body, X-ring-sealed Ultra Shocks are proven in years of service across more than 10 different Traxxas models, so yeah, they work. They’re outfitted with progressive springs and new pivot-ball-equipped caps for Rustler 4X4 duty. As for new stuff, take a look at the shock towers, suspension arms, and rear hub carriers. They’re only found on the Rustler 4X4, and in addition to revised or all-new shapes, the arms use Traxxas’ new E-revo spec extra-durable plastic that’snot only more resilient all aroundbut also tougher in cold conditions.
