Pro-line RC Detail + Shine Spray

In a perfect world, we would all be able to drive our offroad RC vehicles and not have to deal with messy cleanup at the end of the day. Dirt buildup wouldn’t exist, and we’d have no worries about washing off the mud, clay, or nitro buildup from those long days out at the track. I mean, a guy can hope right?

But seeing as we live on planet Earth, and dirt does exist, we do in fact have to clean our cars when we’re done with them. Luckily, we can always turn to cleaning products like Pro-line’s RC Detail + Shine spray to make the job easier.

Pro-line’s Detail + Shine spray has been specially formulated to clean and restore RC parts to look fresh and new, clearing away dirt and debris in the process. Additionally, Pro-line’s RC Detail + Shine spray leaves what they call a “microthin” UV protectant layer that repels dust, leaving behind a shiny clean surface without any greasy residue. PL’S Detail + Shine spray is Ideal for use on all plastic parts, including the chassis and the body.

TESTING

The PL Detail + Shine spray comes out as a light foam spray the easily wipes off the surface with a towel. I’d recommend using some compressed air to blow off large chunks of buildup, but any type of fine dust will easily be taken care of with the spray. Testing it out on some plastic chassis parts I noticed that it leaves a nice clean finish after with no noticeable residue, just like they say.

Although the can only mentions use on plastic parts, the Detail + Shine spray works like a charm on aluminum chassis plates as well as cleaning surface dust off of tires. Be sure to follow Pro-line’s instructions on the can by using the spray in a clear, ventilated area. The spray leaves behind a nice, clean scent, but it’s always best to be on the safe side.

As for the end result, the Pro-line Detail + Shine spray does an excellent job of conditioning parts, making them look good as new. A can of Pro-line’s Detail + Shine spray in my pitbox will make cleanup after those long days at the track that much easier.
