COOL AS ICE MONSTER

Benjamin tells us this build was inspired by his 7 year old son. They were watching vintage monster trucks on Youtube and the kid fell in love with the Michigan Ice Monster, so he decided to build something tough and reliable but with not so much power that a child couldn’t comfortably drive it. It runs the stock twin Tamiya 540L motors with a Hobbywing 880 dual motor ESC with 6-cell NIMH Venom power. Benjamin started gathering parts and building last summer so he would have it ready by Christmas. The kid is awfully proud of his truck and he makes sure to tell his dad that he’s the “crew chief” and they talk about all the “hot rod” stuff he wants to put on his truck to keep making it better!
