Tamiya’s 1991 Audi V8 DTM Racer
The 90’s era of road racing undoubtedly produced some of the most iconic race cars of all time. Luckily for us road racing enthusiasts Tamiya has a habit of recreating the best ones in 1/10 scale RC form, and their latest addition to that lineup does not disappoint. Known for shaking up the early 90’s DTM grid, the Audi V8 quattro sedan took the race series by storm helping Audi to secure the championship in the 1990 DTM season. quattro drivetrain, the Audi V8 quattro quickly solidified its place in the history books as one of the most formidable race cars of its time. Beyond the performance it had a classic understated style that Audi had been known for. Tamiya did what they do best and faithfully recreated the body and decals to match the ’91 season version of the sedan that includes an aggressive front splitter, trunk spoiler, and decals to match.
