Bearing Checker

Next up we have the bearing checker. These are a great tool to have in the toolbox and have become one of my must-have items for building and maintaining RC kits. The tool is stepped to fit a number of different size bearings, allowing the user to snuggly fit the bearing and check it for smoothness. Not only is the bearing checker great for checking the bearing but it also acts as a handy way to remove bearings from gearbox shells and steering knuckles. Simply fit the tool to the bearing and give it a wiggle back and forth and you’ll have the bearing loose in no time. Finally, I’ve found that the bearing checker makes for a great way to size bearings in a pinch. Don’t have a way to measure the inner diameter of that random bearing in your bag of parts? The bearing checker will make quick work of that.
