Hand Torch

Last, but certainly not least on the list is a small hand torch. There are many of these out there on the market, many that can be refilled with butane, but my personal favorite, and the one mentioned on this list is the SOTO Pocket Torch. This pocket torch comes in handy for heating shrink-wrap on wiring and connectors, as well as heating double-sided tape when installing electronics. What I like most about this torch is that it uses standard square lighters for the fuel source. This makes it a great option when travelling with my RC tool kit. Since there is no compressed fuel element to it, I can pack it in my bag disassembled and pick up a standard square lighter once I get to my destination. Regardless of which one you decide on, a small hand torch can be a great addition to your toolbox.
