Fresh From The Batcave, Hot Wheels RC x The Batman
Officially licensed movie themed RC is something we don’t usually see, especially in hobby level RC. Most RC replica movie tie-ins, if we get to see any at all, are relegated to toy grade vehicles. Perhaps its prohibitive licensing costs that keep serious RC movie replicas at bay, frankly we’re not privy to the details. What we did notice however is a promising, highly detailed RC recreation of the latest rendition of the Batmobile that will debut in the upcoming Batman movie, aptly named, The Batman, which is due to drop in March of this year.
Offered by Mattel Creations in conjunction with Hot Wheels RC, this detailed muscle car version of the Batmobile comes in 1/10-scale complete with plenty of LED lights, a full interior and even an animatronic Batman figure that moves the steering wheel and shifts according to your RC inputs. What’s more, the fully functioning RC also features a water-activated mist effect that is capable of creating Gothamesue atmosphere anywhere it goes. If that wasn’t enough, it also comes with a detailed Batcave display complete with light-up screens and a Bat-signal projector.
With so much to offer, we’re excited to see how this highly detailed RC stacks up against proper hobby grade vehicles. Regardless, this unique RC does score big in terms of display looks and collectability. Now if we can only get our hands on one.
